Event info
The first meeting this year on the topic of Systems Engineering will take place on Thursday, 28.04.2021 instead of.
The theme is: “Modeling for Everyone.”
This time, our speaker is Eugen Schindler. His talk will focus on modeling in the development of printing systems.
Canon Production Printing (previously Océ) is a more than hundred-year-old company and a global leader in digital imaging, industrial printing, and collaborative business services. To better, faster, and cheaper design and understand our systems, we have a long history of modeling across all disciplines and departments. The vision of Canon Production Printing is that models become leading artifacts during the lifecycle of product variants. Having many types of models spanning all disciplines and departments, our current challenge is to create, (re-)use, connect, and maintain models. We believe that the human component in our modeling ecosystem is crucial and that interconnecting models yields exponential added value. In this talk, we will show you our vision, supported by practical examples and challenges we meet when leveraging models and modeling tools broadly for everyday product development activities.
After this lecture there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion.
In order to promote regular regional exchange on the topic of systems engineering in the region, the Systems Engineering Working Group (AK-SE) was established in the VDI District Association Bavaria Northeast.
The event is free, however, a binding registration is required.
So be quick, block the date in your calendar and register on XING or by email.
