For anyone interested in discussing or learning new things about functional safety, requirements engineering, or systems engineering, I have a great event tip. A Barcamp on these topics will be held in Munich from February 22nd to 24th, 2018. If you haven't been to a Barcamp before, I wholeheartedly recommend this type of event. You can bring your own topic and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Embedded World will also be taking place in Nuremberg from February 27th to March 1st, 2018. This trade fair is practically on my doorstep, and I'll be there on Tuesday, February 27th. You're also welcome to take the opportunity to visit us in Erlangen while you're in the area.
