Why a CPR feedback sensor makes the difference
Already after 3 minutes without oxygen Irreversible brain damage can occur. High-quality chest compressions are crucial until emergency services arrive.
The guideline requires:
- 5–6 cm indentation depth
- 100-120 compressions per minute
However, without feedback, this narrow window is often missed – especially in stressful situations.
Our CPR feedback sensor was developed to fill this gap. It delivers precise real-time feedback to compression depth and frequency, making resuscitation more reliable for laypeople and professionals alike.
Portable. Precise. Ready to use immediately.
Your requirements for a CPR feedback sensor can be highly individual. We offer a modular base that can be programmed and produced according to your specifications. Whether as a key fob for everyday use, additional equipment in ambulances or defibrillator cabinets, for feedback in first aid training, or for analysis in clinical studies: the sensor can be adapted to your needs.

Technical data
The M-Track board is our sensor platform specifically developed for medical technology, enabling precise motion tracking.
As a fully mature and validated circuit board for motion analysis, it forms the technological basis of the sensor and enables rapid and cost-effective product development. The sensor is attached to the chest of the person being resuscitated or to the hand of the rescuer and reliably tracks the movement of the sternum with high accuracy.

Real-time visualization via smartphone app
The collected data is analyzed and transferred directly to a smartphone app. The app displays:
- Current Compression depth
- frequency per minute
- Target values according to the guideline
- Real-time visual and acoustic feedback
In addition, the app guides the user step by step through the entire CPR process – especially helpful when stress makes clear decisions difficult.
The app is cross-platform and can be used on iOS, Android, web and desktop.

Advantages at a glance
The M-Track board is a sensor platform developed by MEDtech Ingenieur GmbH for high-precision motion analysis and motion tracking in medical technology.
As a mature hardware platform, it reduces development costs and shortens project durations that are otherwise associated with new developments.
The core of our system is a [unclear] Zephyr RTOS implemented algorithm that processes the signals in Frequency range evaluates.
This brings significant advantages:
- No drift like with integration algorithms
- Very high repeatability
- Reliable calculation of indentation depth even over extended periods
Zephyr enables robust real-time processing on resource-limited systems and supports the rapid integration of different sensors.
The M-Track board is part of a modular system. Individual components can be:
- exchanged
- expanded
- reduced
will be – depending on customer requirements or product vision.
This significantly reduces development times for new medical devices and enables customized solutions.
For validation, a dedicated test bench was developed that precisely simulates the sensor's movements and graphically presents the results.
This ensures that the system functions reliably in emergency situations.
A detailed report on this will be published shortly on our blog.
Measurement data can be visualized in real time via the app and exported in CSV format – ideal for analysis, research and prototyping
