Summertime is vacation time! We at MEDtech Ingenieur thought so too, and spontaneously went camping in Frickenhausen. Now, some of you are probably wondering where exactly Frickenhausen is. Basically, it's right on the Main River next to W\u00fcrzburg and only 100 kilometers from Erlangen.<\/p>\n

It all started on Friday at 4 p.m. The last SVN commits were quickly executed, then it was off to the fully loaded cars. Five tents, a gazebo, six chairs, a table, and a boat had to fit next to our developers. After a typical drive on the A3 and a missed exit, we finally reached our destination: the Knaus campsite in Frickenhausen. Naturally, we started setting up the tents immediately. Luckily, because it then started to rain. Over the course of the evening, the light rain turned into a heavy thunderstorm. And what does a scientist do in a thunderstorm? Of course! Count the time between the lightning and the thunder to calculate the distance. Luckily, the storm was far enough away.<\/p>\n

The next day looked a bit better. Still a bit cold, but warm enough to jump into the Main River. The dinghy was quickly inflated and launched. Besides plenty of swimming, ball games, foosball, and ping-pong, we also had a great barbecue! Our hardware developer Martin grabbed the tongs and conjured up some delicious marinated steaks.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, we visited the neighboring outdoor pool to try our hand at volleyball and enjoy the beautiful weather. By the afternoon, however, we had to pack up our tents again. Many thanks for the wonderful team event and to everyone who participated and participated.<\/p>\n
