As a schematic and layout program, Altium Designer offers us several advantages:<a href=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Altium.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1555 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Altium.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"82\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Altium.png 144w, https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Altium-100x57.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 144px) 100vw, 144px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear and simple library management.<\/li>\n<li>Easily integrated with our version control system Subversion.<\/li>\n<li>Export of 3D data in various formats possible.<\/li>\n<li>All the features we need, such as design rule check, routing of differential signals, length adjustment, etc., are supported.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The last two points are important for the EMC-compliant integration of printed circuit boards into an overall system. Medical technology, in particular, places high demands on immunity to interference, in addition to radiation. EMC-compliant design requires experience and proven methods, from concepts to layout and testing to approval.<\/p>\n<p>We use LTspice for circuit simulation. Simulation models from other providers are not available.<a href=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/LTspice.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1557 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/LTspice.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"124\" height=\"31\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/LTspice.png 124w, https:\/\/medtech-ingenieur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/LTspice-100x25.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 124px) 100vw, 124px\" \/><\/a>They can be integrated in PSpice format, and data exchange with customers is easy because it&#039;s a free tool. It offers many features such as state machines, logic, and mathematical functions.<\/p>\n<h2>Hardware-software codesign<\/h2>\n<p>Hardware development rarely exists in isolation. Solutions are typically developed within a system involving a system architect, software development, quality management, and engineering.
